ACE Education is a leading educational group specializing in training for passionate professions. It groups together the AMOS Sport Business School, ESDAC, CMH, ESBS, EIDM and ENAAI schools, and offers specific training dedicated to the worlds of sport, hospitality, luxury, design, graphic creation, fashion and art.

The project involves redesigning their internal tool for organizing the school year. We're talking about reference systems, speakers, students, their registration for an information meeting and their diploma. We had to integrate all the tool's configuration, as well as the most recurrent tools for users (administrator, pedagogy, schooling, lecturer, student). From grades to the creation of assessments and student attendance, the tool is complex and packed with features that must not be overlooked for optimal use and a smoothly running school year.

The current tool carried a heavy cognitive load for all users. To reach a goal, they had to go through several actions and clicks, and this for many of the main goals. The tool was not optimal and needed to be harmonized with the mobile application created a few weeks earlier.

The main objective was to take over the existing tool with the majority of its existing functionalities in order to improve the user experience and make access to information easier and quicker. In addition, it was imperative to change the filter and modal mechanics. Currently, we had almost all the flows in the form of funnels, and users had to filter each time they used the tool to access information, which can waste a lot of time on a daily basis. We therefore reviewed these mechanisms to reduce the cognitive load.
